With the blessings of our beloved chairman Dr.K.V.Kuppusamy, Oral Hygiene Day celebration was inaugurated by the Director, RVS Group of Institutions and was graced by Principal, RVS Dental College and Hospital, Lt Col Dr.RGK Shet. The department of periodontology organized and conducted various competitions for students to enlighten the essence of oral hygiene like street play where various hidden actors and actresses showcased their talents and logo designing etc. The day 1 of the event complied with a great lesson”Poor oral care result in poor overall health”
Day 2 begins with the flagging of the dental van by the Director, RVS Group of Institutions and Principal, RVS Dental College and Hospital, Lt Col Dr.RGK Shet. The awareness programme began with a knowledge walk by the students and staffs of the institution, which was driven by the departments of Periodontology & Public health dentistry. We had conducted a free dental camp and distributed pamphlets through which we spread awareness about the importance of oral hygiene maintenance. The institution also had a face painting competition in which students took active participation and highlighted the art of oral hygiene.
