Third year & second year postgraduate student from the Department of Periodontology & Clinical Implantology and Department of Orthodontics & Dentofacial orthopaedics presented a case reports on “PERIO-ORTHO INTERRELATIONSHIP”

 Dhanya intern gave a brief introduction on “PERIO-ORTHO INTERRELATIONSHIP”.

• Dr.Ajay and Dr.Sowmya.S III year PG’S presented 2 c a s e r e p o r t s o n Dental biofilm induced gingival enlargement .
• Dr.Keerthana and Dr.Harita PG’S presented a case report on Crown lengthening using electrocautery.
• Dr.Keerthana and Dr.Sowmya.S presented case reports on frenectomy and surgical screw exposures. The presentation was followed by an interactive session, during which attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification on various aspects of pros and cons of Management of Dental biofilm induced Gingival Enlargements.

During the inter department meeting it was announced that future inter department presentations should be presented by atleast group of 4 interns from various departments. Schedule for the next 4 inter department meetings were discussed during the session. The program ended with Vote of thanks by Dr.Deepshika Saravanan followed by National anthem. The date and Agenda for the next Interdisciplinary Meeting will be communicated via email.
