FREE MEGA SCALING CAMP ON OCCASION OF ORAL HYGIENE DAY

The Department of Periodontology, RVS Dental College and Hospital, take extreme pleasure in organizing and conducting a free mega dental scaling camp for spreading “oral hygiene awareness, oral hygiene practices and their influence on systemic health” on behalf of ORAL HYGIENE DAY towards the improvement and maintenance of gum health to the general public.
On Day 1, August 1st the celebration commenced with the blessings of our chairman kalvithandhai kuppusamy ayah and our Principal/director Dr.Vijay V.K and Head of the Department Dr.Deepshika Saravanan, Department of periodontology. An insightful webinar was delivered by Dr.P.S.G. Prakash MDS (MS LASERS) to the final year,interns and staffs.
An Awareness rally was organized on the same day raising awareness about Oral hygiene and its benefits on systemic health. Awareness pamphlets and toothpaste samples were distributed to the public,
?As a part of Oral hygiene day celebration, a free mega scaling camp was conducted on ,AUGUST 02ND 2024 at RVS DENTAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL , Coimbatore where a total of 427 patients were trreated .The importance of oral hygiene was inculcated to the general public with the help of pamphlets and Oral hygiene instruction and motivational videos during the free scaling camp.On behalf of this awareness initiative free scaling camp was announced to the general public from 2nd August to 8th August
This program was a grand success, around 427 members benefited from this free mega scaling camp.
