A Masterguide for Successful Postgraduate Examination 2026, a National Conference organized by Chettinad Dental College from 23rd March to 27th March 2026. The program aimed to enhance academic excellence and examination preparedness among Postgraduate Students of Periodontology.
A highlight of the conference was the insightful guest lecture delivered by resource faculty Dr. Deepshika Saravannan, MDS, Head of the Department of Periodontology, on the topic “Beyond Bacteria: Fine-Tuning the Host Immune Response.” The lecture provided a comprehensive perspective on the evolving concepts in periodontal therapy, emphasizing host modulation strategies beyond conventional microbial approaches.
Active participation for the conference from the faculty members of the Department of Periodontology, including Dr. Senthilkumar, Dr. Sakthi Ganesh, Dr. Maria Subash Aaron, Dr. Vinu Sarangesh, Dr. Abarna Shree, Dr. Vaishnavi, and Dr. Pratheepa.
Additionally, the postgraduate students of the department—Dr. Alphonsa Nevis Roshini, Dr. Jayasakthi, Dr. Sumathy, Dr. Gowri, Dr. Kavippriyan, Dr. Reemitha, Dr. Adarsh Vignu, Dr. Mathivanan, and Dr. Nivethitha—enthusiastically attended the program and benefited from the academic sessions conducted during the conference.
Overall, the event served as a valuable platform for knowledge enhancement, academic interaction and professional development for both faculty and postgraduate students.
