“WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY”2022 was observed in RVS Dental College and Hospital on 31st May 2022 with a function organized jointly by the department of Oral Medicine & Radiology and the Department of Oral Pathology & Oral Microbiology.
The stage programme comprised of an awareness speech given by Dr.Chandrakala, Professor & Head, department of Oral Medicine & Radiology regarding the Tobacco cessation programme being conducted by the institute. e-Poster, face painting competitions amongst the students were organized and prizes were distributed by the principal.
A street rally was conducted by the students, interns and post graduate students of our college with placards depicting the ill effects of Tobacco use and awareness pamphlets were distributed to the passerby. A few skits performed by the students in and around the circumference of the college and at sulur town bus stand and pappampatti pirivu bus stand.
