The department of Public health dentistry conducted a program on the occasion of “NATIONAL TOOTH BRUSHING DAY- 7th November” for the cleaning workers of RVS Group of Institutions on 13.11.2021 from 11.00AM 11.30AM.
This program was successfully conducted under the guidance of our beloved Director, Dr. Mohan Gundappa sir and our principal Dr. Ranjana Mohan madam.
The main aim of this program is to create awareness and to improve their oral hygiene and make every individual to use a tooth brush and tooth paste. Oral Health education talk was given by Dr. Mathew MJ Reader, department of Public health dentistry followed by Hari Preetha, Deena Helsiya, Gowsen and Balaji (CRI-Department of Public health dentistry)
Health education talk emphasizing – Importance of tooth brushing, Brushing techniques, Types of tooth brush, Materials used for tooth brushing, Oral hygiene instructions & Maintenance of oral hygiene was given.
A total of 41 members attended this program. Free oral and dental health check up was given to the participants who attended the program. Tooth paste and tooth brush was also delivered to the workers by our Principal madam Dr. Ranjana Mohan. Refreshments was provided at the end of this program.
