REPORT OF BLOOD DONATION DRIVE 2023

Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
A blood donation drive was organised by the RVS Nursing College and RVS Dental College & Hospital, Sulur, Coimbatore on 01/12/23 in which students of all the years took part. The drive began at 10:00 am. The students were screened for their height, weight, drug and medical history to make sure they were eligible for blood donation after which they proceeded to check for vitals. Individual blood grouping and haemoglobin tests were performed for confirmation. A total of around 70 students took part in the blood donation. The students were given certificates for their participation in the campaign. The event was supported by Dr Vijay V K, Principal, RVS Dental College & Hospital and coordinated by Dr Priyadharsana, Reader, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and accompanied by the interns Gayathry G, Hannah Asha and Foumiya Samad.
